We are Explorers!
The Explorers Adventurer Club is a non-profit youth organization run by the Garden Road Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Our program focuses on supporting children’s growth in spiritual, physical, mental, and social areas by strengthening parent-child relationships and encouraging a personal relationship with Jesus. We work together with the church, home, and school to help children grow to become mature and happy individuals.
Club Objectives
The Adventurers Club provides fun and creative ways for children to:
- develop a Christ-like character;
- experience the joy and satisfaction of doing things well;
- express their love for Jesus;
- learn good sportsmanship and strengthen their ability to get along with others;
- discover their God-given abilities and to know how to use them to benefit self and serve others; and
- improve their understanding of what makes families strong.
Adventurer Levels
Club Expectations
Each Adventurer is expected to:
- Attend all Club Day meetings, Sabbath activities and conference events. Some field trips are optional, but highly recommended.
- Be on time. Unexcused absences or tardiness may result in dismissal from the club.
Please note that only registered club members, parents and staff are permitted at meetings, activities and events. Opportunities will be given to non-members to participate on designated days.
Meetings & Activities
The Explorers Adventurer Club meets during the school year (September-June). Meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday and Sunday of each month.

Please note that all meetings are held at Garden Road SDA unless specified otherwise.
Parental Responsibility
Parental involvement is crucial to a child’s success. Our volunteer staff is dedicated to guiding Adventurers toward their goals and expects parents to recognize the importance of the program and their role in it.

Membership & Enrolment
Membership is open to all boys and girls ages 4-9 (Pre-K to Grade 4), regardless of race, religion, or background. While enrolment begins in September, children can join at any time.

Club Fees
The Explorers Adventurers Club relies on membership fees, uniform costs, and community contributions to sustain and grow our activities.
Membership Fees
Membership fees are currently $65 per child. These fees helps offset the cost of operating this club.
Uniforms
Uniforms are sold separately and are not included in the membership fees. Costs may vary based on size and gender.
Additional Fees
There may be additional fees for special events, activities, or outings.
How to Pay
Cheques, cash, or email transfers are acceptable forms of payment. Please make all cheques payable to "Garden Road SDA Church."
